Water and Continuity

From May 9 to 17, 2026, the art event titled “….WATER and CONTINUITY….” took place at the Villa Balestra Cultural Center in Rodigo (MN), with the purpose of raising funds for the non-profit association “Casa del Sole Onlus”, which operates in the social sector to support the most vulnerable.
Among the organizers and patrons of the event was the Rotary e-Club Agàpe Universale.
This event of art, culture, and solidarity—held as part of the municipal programming for the feast of the patron saint, St. Bernardine of Siena—was dedicated to the ever-timely theme of water and its multifaceted potential and suggestions. It was expressed through the exciting and forward-looking language of the figurative arts, where once again: Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Illustration and Comics, Engraving, Digital Art, poetry, etc., engaged with this important exhibition theme.
The artists involved brought to life a chorus of reflections on this prodigious, surprising, and primary natural element.
“Side Events” were also held, including musical performances, presentations of social volunteer association activities, and book and poetry presentations. A significant tribute was also paid to figures such as Ippolito Nievo (local patriot and poet) and Vittorina Gementi (founder of “Casa del Sole Onlus”, currently awaiting Beatification).
