Service Above Self

The name of the Agàpe Universale e-Club recalls the fundamental commandment: to love your neighbor as yourself.

Today, however, this principle seems to weaken: our “neighbor” is no longer a real presence, but often a hidden distance behind superficial and virtual relationships. In a world saturated with stimuli, we risk forgetting those who are truly close to us and seeing the other as a stranger, rather than a part of ourselves.

Agàpe Universale was born to bring this connection back to the center, promoting a concrete love capable of overcoming distances and uniting people. An invitation to rediscover the other, as an authentic and necessary gesture.

Rotary International is the oldest service organization, founded in 1905 by Attorney Paul Harris in the U.S.A., which today counts over 1,200,000 members and 46,000 Clubs in 200 countries worldwide.
